Abstract

CONCEPTION BEYOND BOUNDARIES: INTEGRATING AYURVEDA AND MODERN IMPLANTATION SCIENCE

ABSTRACT

Embryo implantation is a critical step in conception, requiring endometrial receptivity, embryo quality, and maternal immune tolerance. Modern biomedical science emphasises molecular markers such as integrins, cytokines, and growth factors, while Ayurveda highlights Garbha Samagri (Ritu, Kshetra, Ambu, Beeja) as essential for successful conception. This narrative review synthesises classical Ayurvedic texts and recent biomedical literature, presenting integrative strategies for enhancing implantation. Ayurvedic interventions such as Rasayana therapy, Uttar Basti, diet regulation, yoga, and meditation complement modern approaches like hormonal priming, assisted reproductive techniques, and immunotherapy. Together, they offer a holistic framework for improving implantation outcomes.
